About Ssift's Owner
Hi there! My name is Layo and I am the owner of Ssift. I purchased this property almost 20 years ago while I was enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Law and the Wharton School of Business. I have spent the last two decades developing my rental strategy to optimally enhance the experience of all who choose to live here. Every facet of Ssift was set up with your satisfaction in mind. I am as invested in my tenants as I am in my property. You will be hard pressed to find a landlord more committed to perfecting your rental experience!

The concept behind Ssift is to create a rental environment that optimizes communal living. Ssift is the ideal living situation for those who seek a social environment without the inherent complications of having roommates. Ssift makes it easy to make the most out of your time in Philadelphia by sharing it with people who can enhance your enjoyment.

One of the advantages of Ssift's setup is that while Ssift optimizes roommate relations, it is also ideal for those not interested excessive interactions. The house is not only spacious but strategically laid out and furnished to support independent lifestyles. The bedrooms are large and each has a smart television and a desk. If the living room is occupied, the den on the lower level has a 65" television and the same subscriptions. At Ssift, having roommates doesn't require a sacrifice of privacy.

Ssift's furnishing are just the tip of its iceberg. We also provide an endless array of essential appliances, tools, electronics, household products, services and other amenities. Having things such as a toaster, colander, light bulbs, measuring cups, hammer, staple gun, plunger or shovel before they are desperately needed is one of the unique benefits of living at Ssift. Convenience is one of the greatest attributes of Ssift. (e.g.: Did you need tape?... was that scotch, packing, duct, electrical, double-sided, mounting or gaffing? Because you will find all of these on site!)
The magic of Ssift lies not just in all that it provides but more so in why it is provided. New roommates are exciting and great in theory, but it can be a daunting venture. It is impossible to know what to expect and being the most considerate roommate at all times is an almost impossible objective. Ssift was designed to combat, alleviate and/or eliminate many of the most common hardships in roommate relations.

A tremendous amount of effort has gone into anticipating potential obstacles and removing them from your mission to meet great people and make build amazing relationships. We welcome you to share anything you think we've missed as Ssift views any feedback as opportunities to improve.
Hate when roommates constantly leave lights on?
...Most of the common areas in Ssift have have been set up with motion lighting and will automatically shut off when there is no activity.
Can't stand when there are clothes left in the dryer?
...The laundry station has collapsible hampers for temporary storage so you are not delayed!
Afraid you will come to blows over fridge space?
...There are two full sized refrigerators at Ssift.
Sick of filthy bathrooms?
...Every Ssift bathroom is professionally cleaned regularly as well as all other shared spaces.
Tired of fighting over who used the most of what, who bought what last and/or who has contributed the most or least?
...All communal items are provided by Ssift and restocked on a monthly basis.
Is there someone always hogging the living room television?
...There is an additional living room in the basement and flat screens in every bedroom.
Need to get into the bathroom now?
...There are 3.5 bathrooms shared by 5 occupants. You'll be ok.
About Ssift Tenants
Ssift welcomes all ages, genders and diversities and offers discounts to Traveling Healthcare Professionals. While the intention and hope is that meaningful and long lasting relationships be made, being social is not a requirement. If comfort and convenience are what you seek, you will find it here. The Ssift manager Seth currently resides on the lower level. Seth is available for any and all rental issues. His presence in the house is meant to assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization and general order.
